Sick of the smack comin The Tigers remain just a game out of first in the Central but are now in critical condition. The Pitching woes have hit astronomical proportions. Now its not just last years stomach knots that Rodney and his erratic control woes in the late inning combined with TJ’s propensity to fill the bases in the 9th

More…A Tough series in Beantown was expected with all of our pitching injuries mounting. With that being said it looks like a wonderful rematch of last years fall classic this weekend as interleague plays begins. With the heralded #1 draft pick throwing tonight against the Red Birds and the only remaining healthy starters on Sat/Sun we should be in good shape to rebound from the Red Sox debacles. The best news is that part of the tailgate team will be in the house for Saturday Night’s festivities.
Series Preview:
Game 1 (Friday, 7:05)
Friday is the tough one: With Looper being St. Louis most effective starter thus far and Miller making his MLB “starting” debut it could be trouble. Hopefully it won’t be a repeat of the pounding Virgil took in his first start. Predict: Cards
Game 2 (Saturday, 7:05)
Our ace of the season, Robertson goes against winless Reyes. We must win and will with part of the UMT fam in da house. Predict: Tigs
Game 3: (Sunday, 1:05)
Ace #2 Verlander, aka. Milo, goes against Brad Thompson in the Sunday Matinee. Predict: Tigs, in extra innings.
Here is our grocery lists of ills (in order of problem seriousness)
#1. Bondo: yeah he hasn’t always been as dominant as we would have liked this year and his damn first innings are still embarrassing but, his untimely blister really pissses you off.
#2 Zoom Zoom: His guitar hero antics are downright child like and who knows how he will recover?
#3 Kenny: Hopefully he comes back kicking with that leg vein in his arm? Will he ever return. I am not sure he will be back.
#4 Maroth: Miner showed signs of promise in short notice but hopefully the stomach flu passes quick, although I am nervous cuz Maroth looks a little sickly mouse at all times.
It appears that the we will have nice weather and with the “Godfamily” present, the Birds are flying back south still well under .500 for the season. Pictures and recap to follow after the series. Also coming next week: Chicago Birthday party fun!!!

Fixed again ya bastard.
