Two long weeks have passed since Lloyd Carr, pillar of integrity, bastion of good vs. evil, and proponent of the student-athlete has retired. In those two weeks, Michigan has interviewed Ron English and Mike DeBord, and asked for permission to talk to Les Miles at LSU. Outside of that, nothing as been accomplished. [...]

Don’t know what is going to happen when the dust clears, but for now, Les is going to coach Michigan and LSU, according to ESPN.

It’s been more than two weeks since Lloyd Carr announced his retirement and I’m not sure I feel any different than I did prior to his announcement. The anticipation is no longer there. It left rather quickly in fact. LSU losing may have dampened my enthusiasm for Les Miles and the search in general but [...]

ESPN just reported that LSU has granted Michigan the opportunity to speak with Les Miles…but only after the SEC championship game. And that’s fair, because they are undefeated in regulation.
Oh, and Chris Spielman prefers Ferentz for Michigan in an article that has a title that is missing the words “EX-BUCKEYE.”
