Just know that the two thugs have now been kicked off of the MSU hockey team.  Justice is served.

UPDATE:  They actually "left" the team following the suspension.  Once actually left school as well.  Best decision of his life.

​This isn't getting much press outside of the 'sphere and an ESPN.com blurb, but two Michigan State hockey players have been suspended for the remainder of the season following their acts of retardedness on Saturday night.  I'm sure this story will pick up some steam soon enough, but for now, I would like to remind everyone that Michigan State is the enemy...in football, basketball, hockey, gymnastics, and table tennis.  You do not feel sorry for them.  You do not pull for them in the name of the Big Ten.  You do not wear green.  You hate them.  HATE.

The only problem with this whole scenario is that being dismissed from the  8-16-2 Spartans is probably a blessing for those two assholes.

​Wow, I've got some catching up to do.

For now, get ready for a rivalry on ice...tonight at 7pm...ESPN2. (UPDATE: That's 7pm local...9pm for us in Ann Arbor) The Godfather, who does his grocery shopping in South Bend, will be using tonights game to get past the weekday drinking restrictions imposed by the Godmother.

Michigan Wins CCHA Championship!

​The Michigan hockey team dispatched of Miami of Ohio 2-1 on Saturday night at the Joe, virtually locking in the overall #1 seed when the tourney pairings are announced tomorrow morning.  It's a long road to Denver for teh Frozen Four, but it will be nice to be following a team that dons the Maize and Blue for a change, rather than whatever team that is playing Sparty.

Congrats to Red and team for giving us something to celebrate!!!!
