The Sad Story of Dommanic Ingerson

​A story on Mercury News (HT: @freepwolverines) tells the sad tale of former Michigan Basketball player Dommanic Ingerson.  I remember Dom well.  I remember his prowess from behind the arc, and how much the student section loved the "Dom Bomb."   The entire section would fall over in unison with every made three pointer.  It was something to see, at a time when Michigan Basketball was still trying to get out from behind the shadow of the Ed Martin scandal.  And now?

He was detained on suspicion of robbery and grand theft, but after a doctor"s evaluation at Highland Hospital in Oakland, he was taken to the psychiatric hospital for further evaluation, police said.

A real shame.  I hope he gets the treatment he needs.  Good luck Dom.
