September 4, 2010: Hard to believe, but it’s been 12 years since we pulled up stakes at Golf and Outing and arrived at our new home at The Cove at Pioneer. We rode the wave of a Kraft sponsorship and an appearance by Michigan legend Jarrett Irons before the Wolverines dispatched the UCONN Huskies 30-10. Full game page is here.
September 20, 1997: This is about as far back as it gets for me. Rain washed out the golf course and sent the tailgate crew to my college house at 1213 South State before the Wolverines crushed Baylor, 38-3. Full game page here.
September 2, 1995: A young group of tailgaters made the trek to Illinois as Michigan, coming off of Mercury’s miracle, dispatched the Lou Tepper-led #24 Fighting Illini 38-14. Full game page with all the pictures is here.

September 21, 1985 - Before any of them had nicknames, Larry, Dave, and Dennis tailgated in South Carolina prior to Michigan’s 34-3 drubbing of the Gamecocks. Did they make a “Beat the Cocks” sign? Of course they did. Why are two of them barefoot? No idea.
