These two dudes make my week every week. About 100 years apart in age, but both big parts of our little party group each gameday. A little lighter crowd for our 3rd consecutive cupcake opponent, so only 17 pizzas came out of the ovens…but damn they were good. Sausage gravy as a pizza sauce. You’re welcome. Godfather got heavy into the brown water upon his arrival, but the crew remained fairly steady heading into a 59-0 pasting of our friends from Storrs. Hitting our stride as we commence Big Ten play this coming Saturday against a less motivated Locksley (no Gattis left for him to compete against) and his team from Maryland.

September 4, 2010: Hard to believe, but it’s been 12 years since we pulled up stakes at Golf and Outing and arrived at our new home at The Cove at Pioneer. We rode the wave of a Kraft sponsorship and an appearance by Michigan legend Jarrett Irons before the Wolverines dispatched the UCONN Huskies 30-10. Full game page is here.
